Uniform Crime Report (UCR) Statistics
The UCR statistical data provided are of the aggregated data of index (Part 1) crimes that are required to be reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Index crimes consist of homicide, non-negligent manslaughter, robbery, forcible rape, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny/theft, motor vehicle theft, and arson crimes. The statistics provided should be considered as a summary of index crimes that occurred in the City of Costa Mesa during the designated year. These numbers reflect the data reported and published by the FBI.
