The Field Operations Administration Lieutenant oversees media relations, budget management, community services, Crime Prevention, the K-9 Unit, and Animal Control. As the department’s press information officer, all media inquires and press releases are coordinated through Lieutenant Glass.
Field Operations Admin Lt. - Bryan Glass
Lieutenant Glass joined the Costa Mesa Police Department in 1995, after being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. During his career, he has had the opportunity to work a variety of assignments, including: Patrol, Gang Unit, Problem Oriented Policing, Master Police Officer, Field Training Officer, Narcotic and Vice Unit, Detective Bureau, Patrol Sergeant, and the Chief's Adjutant. Lieutenant Glass was also a member of the department’s S.W.A.T. tactical team for over six years.
Lieutenant Glass has an Associate of Science Degree in Administration of Justice - Supervisory from Irvine Valley College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science from Chapman University, and a Master of Science Degree in Emergency Services Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
In addition to his career, Lieutenant Glass' priorities are his family, outdoor activities, and being a member of Saddleback Church.
