The Costa Mesa Police Department’s Unsolved Case Team is tasked with investigating unsolved violent crime cases such as homicide, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault.

The team was created in 2009 and works closely with the Forensic Scientists from the Orange County Crime Lab, and Investigators from the Orange County District Attorney’s TracKRS Unit.
